Indrani’s vision is that one day soon, a girl will ask her mother, ‘Mom, what is gender violence? What about the phrase – domestic violence – what does it mean?’

And the mother will reply, ‘Those are horrible things that used to happen, honey, but they’re history now. You don’t have to worry.’
